This is not a "teach you how to draw/improve" blog. This is just merely another resource filled with resources for others to use to their own advantage.
On this blog you are going to find a variety of tutorials, references, and more.
If there is ever anything specific you want to see posted or you have a question (or advice) feel free to send an ask or a submission.
“I have had people ask me for an entire 22 minute television show and want to pay me $100 to make it. No I’m not kidding. That would take me a year to do by the way. I have had people want me to draw 300 panels of art for their children’s book for $300. That’s a dollar a drawing. I have had people want me to produce a full color 22 minute storyboard for less than $250 bucks.”
This :| This is why I don’t do animation on commission, because no one would PAY what it needs. It’s insane :/
Wow. Why would anyone offer to pay so fucking low. Ridiculous.
w.h.a.t. are you kidding me
“can you just record and mix my album for 200 dollars?”
^no, they don’t :(
DUDE. A 30 second animation took me two weeks and it’s not even smooth :[ Course I had other class projects but still.
check out this post by one of the owners of the animation studio i work for….it has an interactive price graph:...
I’m not an artist, but I really admire them, and the animation process in particular. I can’t believe people actually...
people who aren’t artists don’t realize how time consuming art is.
