For mac-users, go google colloquy!

It is actually the OFFICIAL deviantart irc-channel. However, it is quite dead nowadays. And I wanna chat with ppl on that channel. Because msn and other chat-clients suck ass. IRC <3

You should! Think of it as a croup chat that isn’t filled with idiots, spammers and trolls. dA used to have it active back in the days, but now they use their own chat-client instead, and you can guess how those places are like :/
HOW TO JOIN THE IRC USING XCHAT:
In XChat’s network list: click the ADD-button. Paste in irc.mediamonks.net. Select this one and click the edit button. In the servers for irc.mediamonks.net list there should be something like newserver/6667. Click on that and paste in irc.mediamonks.net there as well. Close the dialoges and then connect to the mediamonk network.
